Free Robux & free items
What you can genuinely claim, what is always a scam, and how to check before you click.

These are handed out by Roblox itself inside Roblox. Tick them off as you go — progress is only kept for this visit.

Real vs. fake, side by side
The only ways a Robux balance can change. Anything outside this table is someone trying to take your account.
| Way to get Robux or items | Real? | What it involves |
|---|---|---|
| Buying Robux or redeeming a gift card | Real | Straight purchase through Roblox, the app, or an authorised retailer card. |
| Monthly stipend from a subscription | Real | Roblox Premium or Roblox Plus grant a monthly Robux allowance as part of the paid subscription. |
| Official events giving free UGC | Real | Roblox runs platform events that grant avatar items for quests — see the tracker above. |
| Earning as a creator | Real | Selling passes, developer products, subscriptions and avatar items, or Creator Rewards payouts. |
| Roblox's own promotions or offers | Real | Roblox-funded Marketplace offers and promo grants appear in-app, never on a third-party form. |
| A generator, "claim" page, survey or code | Scam | No external tool can write Robux to a Roblox account. These pages take logins or install malware. |
| A Discord DM offering free Robux or a rare item | Scam | Usually leads to a fake login page or a "verification" step, or asks you to trade first and runs off. |
| Someone asking to borrow your account to "add" Robux | Scam | Roblox staff never ask for your password. Handing it over lets them strip your items and lock you out. |
If you want Robux, earn it as a creator
This is the only route Roblox actually pays out on, and it is the one real answer to "how do I get Robux for free".
Sell passes & developer products
When you sell your own passes in your own game you keep 70% of the Robux spent; a 30% marketplace fee applies.
Creator Rewards
You earn a fixed payout of 5 Robux when an Active Spender plays your game for 10 minutes or more, up to the first three games they play each day.
Sell avatar items
Selling user-generated clothing and items is open to age-verified creators subscribed to Roblox Plus or Premium. Selling inside your own game can return 70%.
DevEx cash-out
The Developer Exchange converts Earned Robux to real money: 30,000 Earned Robux minimum, 13+, verified email, and a good-standing account.

Lock your account down
Turn on 2-step verification
Add a code step in your Roblox security settings. Even if someone gets your password, they cannot get in.
One password, one place
Only ever type your Roblox password on the real Roblox login page. Not in a game, not in a DM, not on a "verification" site.
Already clicked? Act fast
Change the password, enable 2-step verification, check for changed email or security settings, run an antivirus scan, then contact Roblox Support.

Safe downloads
Fake "free skins" and "free accounts" sites are a common way to steal logins. Here is what we do, and what you should watch for.
Official links only
Each download button opens Steam, Epic, or the publisher's own site. We never host game files.
No surveys or "verification"
A real free game or item never asks you to complete offers to unlock it. If a site does, close it.
Never share your password
Publishers and this site will never ask for your game password, even for a giveaway.
Check the address bar
Before you sign in, confirm the domain is the publisher's, such as steampowered.com, epicgames.com or roblox.com.
